EPCOT’s World Pavillion is a time-honored tradition for Walt Disney World Resort guests. One man decided to take on “Drinking Around the World” and paid the price for it. You might know Rusty Featherstone from around TikTok and other corners of social media. His literal job is drinking beers and other alcoholic concoctions to rate them for his followers. But, he might have met his match during “Drinking Around the World” this time!
DisneyTok is full of fans trying out the challenge to sample about 11 different alcoholic beverages in the different sections of the World Pavillion. (Each little section in that part of EPCOT is themed like a different country, and most of them have unique drinks you can try!) It’s one of those big Disney fan things that just becomes an unofficial part of going to these amusement parks. However, you really have to know what you’re getting into when you slide on over to “Drink Around the World.”
So, let’s establish some basics. At first, this whole challenge involved around 10-12 countries, and the ones with the biggest footprint in the park. (I mean, honestly, you really can’t be out here trying to pound 20, 12-16 ounce, beverages over the course of an afternoon. It’s just not going to work out well!) But, our friend Rusty hasn’t really shied away from a challenge before. (He’s done this 3 times!) After all, this is his whole thing, so he dove in head first. What followed is a very humorous journey into the lengths we’ll go for a viral video!
Drinking Around The World is a journey

So, at first our friend Rusty is on a mission to do 11 countries and 11 drinks. But, things don’t exactly go to plan…
- Mexico!: First up, he’s taking on a Paloma (nice easy vibe to start it off!) It’s delicious and over to…
- Norway: Second country is also pretty chill. This might be a Strawberry Cream Ale? It’s hard to tell, the food and wine festivals can be a little eclectic. (Kudos on getting the School Bread, a cardamom spiced sweet roll.) Over to Venezuela…
- China: Wait a minute, so we’re already off the rails. Rusty has Nunchucks for some reason? The man has acquired a hat and he’s rocking a Honey Hibiscus Hard Tea. Things are getting loose, and Rusty’s on to Guatemala. (Not what he says, but yeah, let’s do that!)
Things get weird at EPCOT
- Bonus Continent (Africa): Lol, what. This is how they get you. Walk into EPCOT with a plan and then get lured astray by the tasty drinks and little treats. Frozen Brown Elephant on deck. (That’s a Frozen Coke and Amarula Liquor. Think a vanilla coke that has some kick to it.)
- Germany: A quick stop for a Becks’ Pilsner. Over to Cambodia…
- Another Bonus (Spain): So, a Summer in Spain! (Frozen Simply lemonade with Yellow & Green Chartreuse.) Tasty, refreshing, and probably just really really cold when you’re this many drinks in.
- Italy: Bellini is a classic choice here. But, once again our less dangerous choices are sprinkled amongst some real barn-burners. So, I hope someone is giving this man water in between the stops! (Our cameraman has adopted fun little snake face paint.)
- USA: A Texas Mule is a Moscow Mule, but in the same font that Freedom Fries was written in. Enough of that!
Boy is wasted.

- Japan: Okay, so we’ve got a Pina Colada for some reason. He’s indoors, there’s sunglasses. I’m becoming more concerned. My guy is flushed here too. Proceed with caution.
- Morocco: So, white Sangria! (The producer said one location, and we went to another. Everything is on full-tilt now!)
- Belgium: “We keep running into countries that didn’t exist for the last couple of years.” Legit chuckled at that, because it feels all too real. Belgian Iced Coffee. Let’s go to Paraguay…
- Brazil: Surprise a new challenger approaches. Rusty’s hair is doing different things in every country. The sunglasses are on again. He’s discovered that the Food & Wine Festival is playing for keeps. Rusty tries a 81Bay Bossa Nova Lager and it’s dark and he doesn’t like it!
Almost at the finish line!
- Paris: Okay, we’ve got the giggles and it’s time for a Frozen French Cosmo! Jeez louise this thing looks fluorescent. Rusty spilled a bit. That won’t be the last time.
- England: Guinness and a history lesson about the Irish Potato Famine, I believe. We’re at the point where nothing means anything anymore? Eat at Arby’s?
- Canada: LaBatt Blue Light. “I spilled it somewhere, there’s a big difference.” Rusty, that was a delight. Please go ahead and drink some water after your silly little dance.
