Man tragically found dead in Irvine after cops called to 'concerns for person'

The body of a 25-year-old man has tragically been found in Irvine.

Police were called to the Waterside area of the town after being alerted to concerns for a person around 4pm on Thursday December 17.

The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called around 3.55pm on Thursday, 17 December, 2020, to a report of a concern for a person in the Waterside area of Irvine and the body of a 25-year-old man was found.

“The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
