A man has sadly died in a horror car crash on the Isle of Harris.
Emergency services were called to the scene of the one-vehicle smash on the the A859 south of Ardhasaig around 9.05am on Thursday December 24.
The 29-year-old male driver of the car was tragically announced dead at the scene.
His family have been made aware.
Police are appealing for information from anyone who may have any seen the crash to get in touch.
Police Sergeant Kate Park of the Road Policing Unit in Dingwall said: "Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing. The road remains closed while we carry out an investigation.
"Anyone who was in the area and witnessed the crash is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting 0718 of 24 December.”
