A man has tragically died following a horror house fire in Glasgow on Sunday afternoon.
Emergency services raced to reports of a fire at a block of flats in Kirkton Avenue, Knightswood, after 3pm on Sunday.
Police have confirmed the body of a man was found within one of the flats and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The fire is not being treated as suspicious.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 3.05pm on Sunday, March 21, officers were called to reports of a fire within a block of flats in Kirkton Avenue, Glasgow.
"Emergency services attended, and the body of a man was found within one of the properties.
"He was pronounced dead at the scene.
"The fire is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
