Man to appear in court over stabbing of teenage boy in East Wall, Dublin

A man will appear in court over the stabbing of a 16-year-old boy on East Wall Road in Dublin.

He is due to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice today at 4pm.

The teenage boy can't be named because of reporting restrictions under the Children’s Act, as the man has now been charged.

A garda spokeswoman said: "Gardaí in Store Street have charged the man who was arrested in relation to the fatal stabbing incident that occurred on East Wall Road on Tuesday 26th January, 2021.

"He is due to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice this afternoon, Saturday 30th January, 2021 at 4.00pm."
