Man to appear in court following Ballyfermot drug seizure

A 48-year-old man is to appear in court in relation to the seizure of drugs in Ballyfermot yesterday.

The man was arrested following the seizure of €292,000 worth of drugs on Monday night.

Gardai, assisted by the Organised Crime Bureau, carried out the search on a residency in the area.

Man, 48, arrested after heroin and cocaine worth €292,000 seized in Ballyfermot  

During the course of a Garda led operation, heroin worth €280,000 and cocaine to the value of €12,000 was seized in Ballyfermot .

The man is due to appear before Blanchardstown District Court this morning.

A garda spokeswoman said: "The man (48 years) arrested in relation to the drug seizure by the Garda National Drugs and Organized Crime Bureau in Ballyfermot on Monday 13th May, 2019 is expected to appear before Blanchardstown District Court, Court Number 1 at 10.30a.m. this morning, Wednesday 15th May, 2019 charged in relation to the seizure."
