A man is due to appear in court charged with carrying a kitchen knife and trespassing at Buckingham Palace.
Cameron Kalani, 44, is accused of entering the Royal Mews on May 10.
Kalani, of Haywards Heath, West Sussex, is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Friday to face charges of trespassing on a protected site.
He is also charged with possession of a bladed article and possession of a wrap of cocaine.
The Royal Mews is part of the Buckingham Palace estate, and houses the royal family’s horses.
A Buckingham Palace spokeswoman declined to comment.
It comes after two people were arrested on suspicion of being found in or upon enclosed premises in a separate incident near Windsor Castle earlier this year.
Thames Valley Police arrested a 29-year-old woman and a 31-year-old man, both from London, after a report that two trespassers had been in the grounds of the Royal Lodge at Windsor Great Park in Berkshire on the afternoon of April 25.
Both were released under investigation.
