Man throws bundle of cash out of window as police bust cannabis farm

A bundle of cash was thrown from the window of a mini van as police busted a cannabis farm in Roby.

Officers were called to the property on Bowring Park Court shortly after 2pm on Thursday, after utility workers carried out a warrant at the address over an unpaid utility bill.

On arrival to the area, police found the occupant of a silver van throwing money out of a window.

The stash of £10 and £20 notes was later seized after it was left lying on the roadside.

During a search of the van police found a large quantity of cannabis and a crowbar.
