Man threw pen at South Ayrshire Council worker before rammy with policy

A man threw a pen at a council employee which hit her on the face.

Barry Ferguson, 47, of Macadam Place, Ayr, threw a pen or similar implement at Leanne Webb, an employee at Wallace Tower, Ayr, on June 17.

Ferguson then resisted, obstructed or hindered officers in the execution of their duty at Ayr Police Office.

He repeatedly engaged in a struggle with constables Jamie Hill and Greg Taylor.

The diet was adjourned for the court to obtain social work reports.

Ferguson will reappear next month.
