A man forced his way into a house and began throwing knives and scissors at a woman inside, in a terrifying incident.
It took place at a house in Holbeck Street, Anfield, at 11.10pm on Wednesday, September 8.
Officers were called to the address after a report a man had entered the house through a window, and threw scissors and two knives in the direction of a woman.

The victim suffered cuts to her arms and hands.
The man was detained by officers with the help of the Dog Section.
A Merseyside Police spokesperson said: "A 37-year-old man from Toxteth was arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary, criminal damage and assault. He was taken into custody for questioning and has been bailed with conditions.
"Enquiries into the incident are ongoing, and safeguarding procedures are being carried out by specialist officers."
