Man threatens shop workers with large knife in Little Stoke

Police have launched a manhunt after shop workers were threatened by a man with a large knife.

The suspect made off on foot with the till from the shop in Little Stoke.

Officers have released a CCTV image of a person they would like to trace in connection to the incident, which happened at about 7.45am on Wednesday (February 3).

Nobody was hurt but two members of staff were left shocked and distressed.

The suspect is described as aged between 20 and 30, wearing a balaclava, a green camouflage jacket with the hood up, ripped jeans and black trainers.

An Avon and Somerset police spokespersons said: "Officers carried out an extensive search of the area but found no trace of the suspect.
