The second suspect is described as white and wearing a dark hooded top with a hood up.

Detective Constable Jamie Howarth from Paisley CID said: “This appears to have been a random and opportunistic incident and thankfully the victim was no injured.

“It is vital we trace the individuals involved and I would appeal to anyone who was in the area of Saucel Crescent in the early hours of Sunday morning to please get in touch.

“I would also urge any motorists with dash-cams who were travelling through at the time to check their footage in case they have captured the suspects, or anything else which could be significant.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland through 101, quoting incident number 1123 of Sunday, 31 October 2021. Alternatively you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
