Man threatened with an iron bar in Leeds street robbery

Police have released e-fit images of two men they want to identify over a street robbery in Leeds.

The victim, a 20-year-old man, was approached by three men in Buckingham Road, Headingley, at about 5pm on Wednesday, October 16.

West Yorkshire Police said: "They demanded his valuables and threatened him with an iron bar.

"The victim handed over his phone, wallet and keys and was punched in the face causing a cut to his lip.

"One suspect was described as black, aged 18-19, about 6ft tall, wearing a black tracksuit top and bottoms.

"Another was described as Asian, about 6ft tall, slim, aged 18-19, wearing a light-coloured hooded top and bottoms. The third male was said to be Asian.

"Anyone who recognises the suspects or who has any information that could assist the investigation is asked to contact Leeds District Crime Team via 101 quoting crime reference 13190532383 or call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
