Man threatened by male with 'bladed weapon' in Redcliffe

Police are searching for a man in connection with a reported knife incident. Avon and Somerset Police have released a photo of a man they want to speak to after reports that a man threatened a member of the public with a "bladed weapon".

The threat occurred in the Redcliffe area of Bristol, at around 11.30am on Tuesday 16 August. It was reported that an unknown man approached and threatened the victim while in possession of the blade.

No one was reported injured in the altercation. Police area searching for a man they wish to talk to about the public order incident.

The suspect is described as white, of average build, had short dark hair and about 5ft 7ins tall.

The man police are searching for in connection to the incident is pictured wearing a dark printed T-shirt, black headphones and was carrying a black and yellow rucksack. Witnesses to the incident, or anyone who recognises this man, are being asked to call police on 101 and provide the call-handler with reference number 5222196607 .
