Man, teen badly hurt in WA horse riding accidents

The teenager has been taken to Princess Margaret Hospital.

A 13-year-old girl and a 36-year-old man have been seriously injured in separate horse riding accidents in Western Australia.

The man is in a critical condition in Royal Perth Hospital after being injured at an equestrian centre in Capel in the South West.

It is believed he was competing in a Polocrosse event.

Just hours later the teenager was seriously injured at the State Jumping Championships in Brigadoon, east of Perth.

She was flown to Princess Margaret Hospital where she remains in a stable condition.
