An 18-year-old man has been charged after he allegedly bit a female police officer while resisting arrest in a hotel car park in Adelaide's south last night.

Police were called to the Marion Hotel on Marion Road about 11:10pm after reports of an assault.

After witnesses directed them to a man in the car park, he allegedly became aggressive.

As officers tried to arrest the 18-year-old, he allegedly resisted, biting the female officer on the leg.

He was tasered and eventually arrested.

The female officer, and a male officer who suffered a wrist injury in the incident, were taken to Calvary Wakefield Hospital for treatment.

The teenager, from Morphett Vale, was taken to Flinders Medical Centre as a precaution before being charged with assault and two counts of assaulting an emergency worker.

He will appear in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court on Monday.

Meanwhile, a 21-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder after he allegedly stabbed another man in the chest, stole cannabis and his wallet, and then fled.

Police were called to Ralph Street at Sturt in Adelaide's south about 3:30pm where they found a 19-year-old Allenby Gardens man with a stab wound.

The man is in a serious but stable condition in the Royal Adelaide Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said the victim was known to his attacker, who has been arrested and charged with attempted murder, aggravated robbery and aggravated assault causing serious harm.

He will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court tomorrow.

Police are also investigating after a man's body was found at a Forestville house yesterday evening.

Detectives and Major Crime investigators attended the scene, but police said "the investigation to determine the cause of the man's death is ongoing".

No further details are currently known.
