A woman has been arrested after a man was stabbed in south Manchester.
The incident happened on Stockport Road in Levenshulme at around 1.10am this morning (Friday).
Police officers were called to the scene by officers from the British Transport Police.
A man, aged in his 40s, was taken to hospital from the scene with a stab wound.

His injuries are serious but not life-threatening, a spokesperson for GMP said.
A woman, aged in her 30s, was arrested on suspicion of section 18 assault.
Eyewitness on social media reported a large police presence in the area and a cordon in place near Cash Converters.
This morning, police had left the area.
Detectives are now appealing for any witnesses, or anyone who has any information, to come forward.
In a statement, a GMP spokesperson said: "Police were called by colleagues at British Transport Police at around 1.10am on Friday 3 September to a report of a man with a stab wound on Stockport Road, Manchester.
"A man in his 40s was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries; a woman in her 30s was taken to custody on suspicion of section 18 assault.
"Enquiries are ongoing."
