Man taken to hospital with nose injury after fight in celeb hotspot Chinawhite

A man was taken to hospital with a nose injury after a fight at celeb hotspot Chinawhite.

The incident happened in the early hours of last Sunday.

An eyewitness told the Manchester Evening News the victim was hit with a bottle, adding: "It was chaos inside."

It is believed a Premier League footballer was present at the time of the incident, although there is no suggestion that he was involved in the violence.

Police and the ambulance service responded to the scene on Deansgate at around 3.45am.

A spokesperson for the ambulance service said a man in his early 40s was taken to hospital with a nose injury.

The injury was not thought to be serious.

Police said they attended following reports of a 'disturbance' at the venue.
