A man has been taken to hospital with leg injuries following a crash between a car and a motorbike in Eccles.
Emergency services were called to Barton swing bridge on Barton Road shortly after 7am this morning (Thursday).
A man in his 30s has been taken to hospital.
The road was partially blocked and led to traffic congestion in the surrounding area.
Bus passengers were warned to expect delays until traffic returned to normal.
A spokesman for North West Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 7.09am to reports of an RTC between a car and a motorbike.
"We sent two rapid response vehicles and an ambulance.
"We took a man in his thirties with leg injuries to hospital."
