Man taken to hospital after van and tractor crash

A Scots man has been hospitalised after a two-vehicle crash involving a van and a tractor.

The incident occurred on the A907 near Bogside in Alloa at around 4.05pm on Monday July 19.

The male driver of the van was attended to by the emergency services and taken to Forth Valley Royal Hospital for treatment.

However, the condition of any potential passengers and the tractor driver currently remains unknown.

The road was closed in both directions until 8.30pm that evening with queues forming following the collision.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Police received report of a two-vehicle crash, involving a van and a tractor, on the A907 near Bogside around 4.05pm on Monday, 19 July, 2021.

“The male driver of the van was taken to Forth Valley Royal Hospital for treatment.

“The road was fully cleared and reopened by 8.30pm.”

It comes days after a 32-year-old motorcyclist died after colliding with a tractor on the B778 near near Stewarton, East Ayrshire on Saturday July 17.
