A man was taken to hospital after receiving a cut to his neck following a 'pub fight' in a Nottinghamshire village.
Police were called to Easthorpe Street in Ruddington at around 9.20pm on Saturday night (September 19) after a glass bottle was believed to have been thrown at a man in a fight.
Officers attended the scene and conducted enquiries into the incident.
The man was taken to hospital for treatment for injuries that are not thought to be life-threatening or life-altering.
He has since been discharged.
Detectives are now appealing for anyone with any information to come forward.
Detective Inspector Gayle Hart, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “Fighting is totally unacceptable and we will always look to take action against those who commit such offences.
“The incident happened at a time when the pub is likely to have been busy and I’d appeal for anyone who has any information or footage of the altercation to call Nottinghamshire Police.”
