Police closed a main road near Ikea at lunch time on Friday due to concerns for a man's safety.
Nottinghamshire Police were called to the A610 at Giltbrook at 12.12pm on Friday (August 30).
Traffic was blocked on the A610 between Newmanleys Road and Gin Close Way, near to Ikea Island.
The incident affected traffic heading towards the M1 junction 26.
The road reopened shortly afterwards.
A man was taken to hospital with injuries not currently believed to be life-threatening.
