A man was taken to hospital after a late night 'altercation' outside a shop in Bolton.
The incident happened on Chorley Old Road at around 11pm last night (Tuesday).
A 'small group of men' were involved in an 'altercation', a Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said.
One man - aged in his 20s - was taken to hospital from the scene.
He was treated for a large cut to his forehead.
No arrests were made, the force spokesperson added.
Chorley Old Road was closed off after the incident between Marsh Fold Lane and Avenue Street.
It has since been reopened.
