A man was taken to hospital after a crash with an ASDA delivery van.
Merseyside Police were called to Croxteth Hall Lane, in Croxteth, at around 8.16pm on Wednesday, July 13, following reports of a crash. Once officers arrived at the junction of the road with Oak Lane, they found a man on a bike and a Ford Transit van had crashed.
Police requested the help of the North West Ambulance Service, after they found the cyclist was injured when they arrived at the scene. The man was rushed to hospital by ambulance with head and pelvic injuries.

The driver of the Ford Transit van stopped at the scene of the crash and is assisting officers with their enquiries. Croxteth Hall Road remains closed in both directions and police are asking motorists to avoid the area.
An investigation is underway. Anyone with information is asked to DM @MerPolTraffic quoting log 1002 of July 13.
