Man taken to hospital after being stabbed outside shop in Salford

A man was taken to hospital after being stabbed outside a shop on a busy road in Salford on Saturday evening (June 24).

Officers from Greater Manchester Police were called to reports of a stabbing on Bury Old Road at around 6.20pm last night.

A man was taken to hospital for treatment. He has since been released.

Police said that no arrests have been made in connection with the incident and they are appealing for anyone with information to get in touch.

A GMP spokesperson said: At around 6.20pm yesterday (Saturday 24 June 2023) Greater Manchester Police were called to reports of a stabbing outside a business property on Bury Old Road, Salford.

“A man was taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries, and he has since been released. There have been no arrests made at this stage and enquiries are ongoing.”
