Police were called to Lower Clapton Road shortly after 1am to reports a man had been stabbed.
A Metropolitan Police spokeswoman said the force found a man with “lacerations to his face”.
He was taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service (LAS) and is in a stable condition.
No arrests have been made and enquires are ongoing.
