Man taken to hospital after being stabbed 'in a car'

A man was taken to hospital after being stabbed 'in a car' in Oldham.

The incident happened on Milne Street in Chadderton at around 5.45pm last night (Monday). The Manchester Evening News understand that the attack happened inside a car, which was pictured within the police cordon.

The victim was taken to hospital from the scene with stab wounds. He was later discharged, police said.

Officers are now hunting down those responsible. An investigation is underway.

In a statement, a GMP spokesperson said: "At around 5:45pm we received reports of a man with stab wounds on Milne Street, Chadderton. He received treatment at the scene before being taken to hospital where he was later discharged. Investigations are ongoing to locate those responsible.
