A man has been taken to hospital after he was pulled from a canal in Glasgow .
Emergency services rushed to the Firhill area of the city after reports of a man in the water at around 7.40am on Saturday.
Police confirmed that they were called to the early morning incident.
His condition is currently unknown.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “The man in the water was later conveyed to hospital.”
