Man taken to hospital after being hit by bus in Nottingham Road

A man has been taken to hospital after he was hit by a bus in Nottingham.

Emergency services were called to the scene in Nottingham Road just before 5pm on Wednesday, November 20.

The crash happened at the junction with Perry Road, near to St Leodegarius Church Hall, in Sherwood.

A spokesman for Nottinghamshire Police confirmed the pedestrian's injuries were not life-changing or life-altering, but he had been taken to hospital as a precaution.

The road was partially blocked outbound with emergency services on the scene.

No arrests were made.
