Police say a man has been taken to hospital after an alleged stabbing incident in Co Down on Saturday.
The 25-year-old man was injured in the alleged incident at the Peagusus Walk area of Downpatrick yesterday.
A 29-year-old woman has been charged with "attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence".
She is due to appear at Newtownards Magistrates Court on Monday 14 September. As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
