Police cordoned-off Stirling Terrace in the south coast city from early Sunday morning, with a forensic team arriving around 11:00am.
Assistant Police Commissioner Allan Adams said there was a theme of alcohol related violence in WA, with multiple incidents occurring across the state this weekend.
"We'll always be quick in responding and resolving the issue through charging people … but unless we can change the attitudes of individuals to the amount they drink and how they act subsequent to when they drink, this will continue to be an ongoing problem," Assistant Police Commissioner Adams said.
