Man suffers serious injuries after crash in Bridgend Tesco car park

A man was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a crash in a Tesco car park.

Emergency services, including officers from South Wales Police, were called to the Tesco car park in Brewery Lane, in Bridgend, at around 7.50pm on Tuesday, April 27.

The 49-year-old man had to be taken to hospital following the crash with a grey Saab in the car park. A 48-year-old woman was arrested but has been bailed pending further investigation.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to the incident, or who witnessed the moments before or after it, or who has dashcam footage to get in contact.

A spokesman for South Wales Police said: "Police in Bridgend are appealing for witnesses and footage following a collision in a Tesco car park. Emergency services were called to the scene in the supermarket car park on Brewery Lane, Bridgend, at approximately 7.50pm on Tuesday, April 27.

"A 49-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries after he was in collision with a grey Saab. A 48-year-old woman was subsequently arrested and has been bailed pending further enquiries.

"Anyone who witnessed the incident, or the moments prior to or after it, is asked to contact police. Officers would also like to hear from anyone with any dash-cam or mobile footage which could assist the investigation."
