A man has suffered potentially "life changing" injuries following a crash between a car and a cyclist.
Merseyside Police rushed to Onslow Road, Kensington, at around 8.05pm on Thursday, July 28, following reports of a crash between a Vauxhall and a cyclist. Once officers arrived a cordon was put in place and drivers were urged to avoid the area.
The cyclist, a man in his 20s, was taken to hospital with head injuries which Merseyside Police described as "potentially life changing". The driver stopped at the scene and is assisting officers with their enquiries.

Road closures are in place on Prescot Road and Onslow Road as emergency services deal with the incident.
A Merseyside Police spokesperson said: "We ask that drivers avoid the area and find an alternative route. We thank you for your patience as we deal with this incident."
