A passenger has sustained “life-changing” injuries to his leg following a three-car crash involving an 18-year-old man driving without a license.
The crash happened on Monday 27, July at around 1.45pm on Walkden Avenue East, in Wigan.
Police say a blue Volkswagen Polo the passenger was in was travelling along Walkden Road towards the junction of Kenyon Road.
The Vauxhall Polo crashed with a white Mercedes C220, and then subsequently collided with a white Vauxhall Astra on Walkden Avenue East.

The 33-year-old VW Polo passenger was taken to hospital with what police describe as “life-changing leg injuries” where he currently remains in a stable condition.
An 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, no insurance and driving without a license.
He has since been released under investigation.
Constable Adam Scott, of GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “This was a serious collision in which a man sustained life-changing injuries.
