A man was taken to hospital with life changing injuries following a three car crash on the M62 yesterday.
Emergency services were called to the scene between junctions 22 and 21 at around 11:20pm on Sunday.
It has now been confirmed that one man was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: “Emergency services attended and one man in his 30s was taken to hospital with life changing injuries.”

Adding that: "Enquiries are ongoing and no arrests have been made."
The stretch of motorway between Junction 22 Denshaw, and Junction 21 Milnrow and Shaw (A640) westbound was shut overnight for five hours.
It reopened shortly after 5:30am this morning (August 23).
Greater Manchester Police, North West Motorway Police, Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue Service, North West Ambulance Service, Yorkshire Ambulance were all called out.
A video captured at the scene shows multiple cars with their hazard lights on at the scene and many people standing on the road.
