Man suffers 'life-changing injuries' after two people stabbed in Ardwick

Two men are in hospital following a stabbing in Ardwick.

The men, both aged 22, were injured during the incident on Brydon Avenue.

They both went to hospital suffering with stab wounds before police were alerted.

The attack is understood to have took place on Wednesday, February 5, at around 8.30pm.

Police said one man suffered life-changing injuries and remains in hospital.

The other man has since been discharged after receiving overnight treatment.

No arrests have been made and police continue to investigate.

Greater Manchester Police said: "Police were called at around 8.30pm on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 to reports of a stabbing on Brydon Avenue, Ardwick.

"Two 22-year-old men are believed to have received stab wounds and self-presented at hospital.

"One man has life-changing injuries and remains in hospital. The other man has since been discharged following overnight treatment.

"No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.
