A man has been rushed to hospital for treatment after allegedly being attacked on a Glasgow street.
Emergency service s were called to the scene on Bellfield Street at around 4.45pm on Friday, May 21.
A 48-year-old was found to have suffered a horror head injury and was rushed to hospital by paramedics.
His condition is currently unknown.
Police Scotland have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
A force spokesperson said: “We were called around 4.45pm on Friday, 21 May, to a report of an assault in the Bellfield Street area of Glasgow.
"A 48-year-old man sustained a head injury and has been taken to hospital for treatment.
"Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
