A man has suffered head injuries following a "public order incident" in Weston-super-Mare.
The victim was found in Byron Road after police officers were called to the scene on Wednesday evening (May 22).
He was then rushed to hospital for treatment but his injuries are not believed to be serious.
Avon and Somerset Constabulary has confirmed an investigation into the incident is underway.
A police spokesman said: "We were called at around 9.50pm on Wednesday (May 22) to Byron Road in Weston-super-Mare to reports of a public order incident.
"A man was found with head injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.
"The injuries are not believed to be serious.
"An investigation is underway. No arrests have yet been made."
