Police are appealing for information after a 23-year-old man suffered injuries to his face after he was assaulted in Bellsmyre yesterday (Tuesday May 25).
The attack took place on Murroch Avenue near its junction with Muir Road between 9am and 9.20am, with the victim rushed to the Royal Alexandra Hospital.
Detective Sergeant Bruce Fyfe said: “This serious assault was not reported to police at the time, so we are now carrying out a number of enquiries to establish as much detail as possible to progress our investigation.
“I would ask any witnesses or anyone with information to contact us. I would also ask any drivers in that area who have dash-cam footage to get in touch.”
