A man has suddenly disappeared from Elgin sparking a frantic police search.
Murray McLaren vanished last night at around 8.30pm in the area of Dr Grays.
Concerns are growing for the 37-year-old as cops search the Moray area.
He is described being about 6ft 2, of muscular build, with ginger hair and beard.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "We are appealing for assistance to trace Murray McLaren, aged 37 years, who has been reported missing from Elgin.
"Murray was last seen in the area of Dr Grays in Elgin about 2030 hours on Thursday 19 August 2021.
"When Murray was last seen was wearing a royal blue hooded jumper, jogging bottoms and carrying a black backpack.
"If anyone has any knowledge of his whereabouts please contact Police on 101 quoting ref PS-20210819-3534."
