Man struck in head with traffic cone in Barking attack suffers life-changing injuries

Detectives are looking for two men after a man was left with life-changing head injuries after being struck with a traffic cone in Barking.

During a fierce argument by Barking station a base of a traffic cone was thrown at the victim, in his 30s, who fell to the ground.

Paramedics found the man with a serious head injury and rushed him to hospital where he remains six weeks later.

He continues to receive treatment for life-changing injuries since the attack on September 4.

DC Louise Powell, from East Area CID, said: “This attack has left the victim with a serious head injury which could have lifelong consequences for him and his family.

“We are committed to finding those responsible and are now appealing for the public’s help to identify two men who were seen in the area at the time of the attack.”
