Man struck by car outside Buchanan Galleries

A man has been rushed to hospital after being struck by a car outside Buchanan Galleries.

Emergency services raced to the scene on North Hanover Street, near to Buchanan bus station, in Glasgow city centre yesterday evening.

It's understood the man involved is in his seventies.

A Police Scotland spokesperson told Glasgow Live: "At about 4.45pm yesterday (Monday), a man was struck by a car outside Buchanan Galleries on North Hanover Street.

"Our enquiries are ongoing."

Glasgow Live have contacted the Scottish Ambulance Service for comment.
