A man who walked around naked during a prison riot before urinating near an officer's station will stay behind bars after admitting dozens of offences.
Bradley Jason Booth was sentenced in the Brisbane District Court on Tuesday after pleading guilty to about 50 charges committed over four years from June 2017.
The most serious offence involved shooting a man he suggested was a "boneyarder", referring to a prisoner in protection, in April last year, Judge Catherine Muir said in sentencing the 24-year-old.
Booth accused the woman whose house they were at of setting him up before getting a handgun and shooting the man - who was running away - in his right leg.
He also admitted assaulting a woman working at a service station when she insisted he pay for fuel in March 2020.
"She tried to grab your keys from your motorcycle ... (but) was unable to do so," Judge Muir said to Booth.
"You tried to punch her about three times.
"Thankfully you didn't connect but then eventually you pushed her with both hands to her upper chest and she fell backwards."
Booth was involved in an incident in an exercise yard of the Maryborough Correctional Centre in June that led to part of the prison going into lockdown.
During the riot he destroyed a wheelie bin and smashed windows.
He also removed his clothing and walked around naked before urinating near an officer's station.
Judge Muir said Booth had an "unfortunate and difficult upbringing", his life had not been stable and he faced difficulties due to a serious drug addiction.
She handed him a head sentence of seven years behind bars.
Booth will be eligible for parole in June, taking into account his guilty plea, Parole Board delays and the 585 days he has already spent in custody.
