A man has stabbed a woman, believed to be his neighbour, in the hand during an argument at their townhouse complex, police say.
A 43-year-old man is expected to face ACT Magistrates Court on Monday charged with intentionally wounding, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and possessing an offensive weapon.
Police allege he stabbed a woman in the hand during an argument outside a Chandler Street townhouse complex on Sunday.
He allegedly pulled a 15cm knife on the woman, stabbed her in the hand and was chased away by another person.
ACT Ambulance Service paramedics treated the woman, before taking her to hospital.
Police attended a short time later, and with the assistance of witnesses, identified the alleged offender and arrested him.
