Man stabbed on seafront before attackers steal money and trainers

A man was stabbed on a seafront before his attackers stole his money and trainers.

Police were called to Margate seafront on the Kent coast at 4.20am on Wednesday morning.

The stabbing occurred on Royal Crescent with the South East Coast Ambulance Service transferring the injured man to hospital.

The man reported that he had been assaulted on Margate seafront by people he didn't know.

They reportedly stole money and trainers from him, reports Kent Live.

A Kent Police spokesman said: "He was taken to a London hospital where his condition is described as stable.

"Following a search of the area a knife was recovered.

"Anyone with information is asked to contact Kent Police on 01843 222289 quoting reference 46/135746/20.
