Man stabbed multiple times 'by four men' inside Salford home

A man has been hospitalised after being stabbed multiple times by four men inside a house in Salford.

Police received reports of an incident on Blandford Road on Friday night (February 19).

Emergency services attended and found a 46-year-old man had been stabbed multiple times inside the house.

Police believe he was stabbed by four men.

The man has since been taken to hospital for treatment, but his injuries are not said to be life threatening.

A man was arrested on suspicion of section 18 assault, but has been released with no further action.

A GMP spokesperson said: “Officers received a report at 11.25pm on Friday 19 February 2021 of a stabbing on Blandford Road, Salford.

“Emergency services attended and enquiries established a 46-year-old man had been stabbed multiple times inside a property.

“At this stage, it is believed he was stabbed by four males.

“He was taken to hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life threatening.

“A man was arrested on suspicion of Section 18 assault. He has been released with no further action.

“Enquiries remain ongoing.”
