Witnesses and people with mobile phone footage are asked to come forward after a man was stabbed outside McDonald's at the intu Victoria Centre.

The victim, a man in his twenties, was assaulted in Milton Street at around 5pm on Thursday (October 8).

He was taken by ambulance to the Queen’s Medical Centre, where he remains in a stable condition.

Officers want to speak to anyone who has video footage of the incident.

Detective Inspector Ed Cook, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “This was a distressing incident that took place in front of several witnesses.

“We believe this incident was filmed by bystanders and that mobile phone footage is being shared on social media.

"If you have video footage of this incident please refrain from sharing it on social media and contact us directly as soon as possible on 101 quoting incident number 571 of 8 October.”
