A man stabbed his child’s grandfather during a domestic argument Friday in Bronzeville on the South Side.
A woman and her father showed up about 2 p.m. to pick her child up from the child’s father in the 2900 block of South Federal Street, according to Chicago police. An altercation ensued, and the child’s father, 19, stabbed the woman’s 47-year-old father in the abdomen.
The man was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
Police said the fight was domestic in nature. The 19-year-old is not in custody as Area Central detectives investigate.
