A man was stabbed during a street fight in Dovecot on Thursday night.
The 33-year-old was taken to hospital after being wounded during a brawl on Pilch Lane.
Detectives are now appealing for details over the incident.
Emergency services were called to the scene at around 11pm following reports that a number of men were fighting in the street.
On arrival they found the injured man, whose condition is not believed to be life threatening.

A police cordon was set up on Pilch Lane while forensics officers searched for evidence.
CCTV and witness enquiries are underway, a Merseyide Police spokeswoman confirmed this morning.
