Man stabbed during 'altercation' at Radcliffe home

An investigation has been launched after a man was stabbed at a property in Radcliffe.

Officers were called to Eton Hill Road at 8.30pm on Saturday (May 30) to reports of someone having been knifed.

The incident happened during an altercation between two men, police have said.

The victim – a man in his 20s – suffered non-serious stab wounds and was treated at the scene.

Police taped off a section of Croft Lane, close to the former East Lancashire Paper Mill site (UGC)

Eyewitnesses reported seeing several police vehicles parked outside a block of flats on the street.

Officers also cordoned off a stretch of Croft Lane, near to the former East Lancashire Paper Mill site. The street is about 300 metres from Eton Hill Road.

One man said he saw police officers with dogs chasing after a group of people.

Greater Manchester Police are yet to confirm whether anyone has been arrested in connection to the stabbing.
